Counselling + therapy at the wellness hub

A safe, supportive space to work through what's weighing on you

Whether you're navigating stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, or just feeling like something is off, our registered psychotherapist is here to help. At Twh, mental health care is woven into our whole-body approach to wellness, because how you feel on the inside matters just as much as how you feel physically.

Psychotherapy is a collaborative process. It's a space to slow down, make sense of what you're experiencing, and build the tools to move forward feeling more like yourself.

What Is Psychotherapy?

Psychotherapy is a form of talk-based care where you work with a registered psychotherapist to explore thoughts, feelings, behaviours, and patterns that may be affecting your wellbeing. Sessions are confidential, non-judgmental, and tailored entirely to you.

Whether you're working through anxiety, stress, grief, relationship challenges, trauma, or simply feeling stuck, psychotherapy can help you gain clarity, build resilience, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself.

Whether you're working through anxiety, stress, grief, relationship challenges, trauma, or just feeling stuck, psychotherapy can help you gain clarity, build resilience, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself.

Sessions are offered individually, for couples, and for families, so that care can meet you wherever you are.

What to expect during your first session

Your first appointment is designed to feel welcoming, unhurried, and completely focused on you.

1. A warm introduction

Your session begins with a conversation. Your psychotherapist will take the time to get to know you, understand what's brought you in, and learn what you're hoping to work toward. There's no pressure to share more than you're ready to.

2. Setting the foundation

Together, you'll explore your goals for therapy and begin to map out an approach that feels right for you. Every therapeutic relationship is built at its own pace.

3. Collaborative, talk-based care

Sessions are guided by your needs and may draw from a range of evidence-based approaches. Your therapist will work with you to find the techniques + frameworks that resonate most.

4. A path forward

You'll leave your first session with a clearer sense of direction and a supportive space to return to. Healing isn't linear, but you won't be navigating it alone.
