Prior to your appointment, we require patients to fill out our intake forms which will be sent via email. On the day of your treatment, wear or bring appropriate clothing which will allow our practitioners to work with you based on your treatment area: shorts are best for addressing hip, knee or ankle concerns, tank tops for shoulders, elbows, and wrists. 

Post care instructions specific to your treatment will be guided by your practitioner at the end of your appointment. 

At The Wellness Hub, we have a collaborative, holistic approach to your care. Our practitioners work alongside one another as a team to help create a unique wellness plan for you to move and feel better. 

Although our practitioners have a passion for women’s health, we treat the entire family including males!

Time is valuable - for our patients, your appointment time reserves space for our practitioners to focus on your specific health needs. 

We understand that, in life, things happen! Unfortunately, a cancelled or missed appointment leaves a gap in a practitioner's day that could have otherwise been filled by meeting with another patient. 

As such, we require a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel or change your appointments. Appointments cancelled or missed within the 24 hour window before your appointment will result in a cancellation fee equal to the full treatment cost.

The Wellness Hub offers direct billing for most major insurance providers. We advise you to contact your insurance provider if you are unsure if services are covered under your extended care plan. 

We unfortunately do not work with MVA and WSIB, however we are more than happy to refer to surrounding clinics!

We offer support for fertility, prenatal care, postnatal recovery + healing, pre & postnatal rehab and c-section scar release therapy to support your journey. Pre + postnatal treatments help to ease the transition into parenthood, with a specific focus on women’s health - from conception, to well after birth.

Our services can help you throughout your entire prenatal journey from the first trimester to the third trimester!

For our postpartum moms, we wait for a 6 week clearance from your physician / obgyn / midwife before our treatments begin for pelvic floor physiotherapy. You can safely begin or resume chiropractic care, naturopathic care, osteopathy, physiotherapy and massage therapy after birth. Depending on your birth experience our practitioners may avoid working on your lower back or pelvic region or choose different techniques & positions until you are cleared at 6 weeks from your physician, obgyn or midwife.

Chiropractic care at The Wellness Hub is a safe and effective form of conservative therapy. As every patient is unique, our chiropractors will perform a thorough history + physical examination to determine what structures + tissues are causing your discomfort and determine an individualized treatment plan to get you moving + feeling better safely. If we are unable to determine the cause or your discomfort or the condition is out of our scope of practice, we will refer you to the appropriate health care provider or for further diagnostic testing if necessary.

Pelvic health is completely safe during pregnancy in which it can help relieve common prenatal aches + pains and prepare you for birth! Our physiotherapists will typically treat women in their second trimester until birth to improve and strengthen function of the pelvic floor muscles and organs.

The Wellness Hub’s physiotherapists will wait till your six week clearance from your obgyn, medical doctor or midwife to begin treatment + restore function and strength after birth, guiding you back to regular activities and exercise, in a safe and calm environment.

Naturopathic care at The Wellness Hub is safe and effective! As every patient is unique, our naturopathic doctors will perform a thorough history, physical examination, lab work [if required] to identify and treat the root cause as naturally and gently as possible while teaching our patients how to cultivate health and wellness through natural therapeutic methods of treatment.

Naturopathic medicine services are appropriate for pre + postnatal care, fertility treatments, adult health and pediatrics to aid in the body’s natural healing process.
